Operation Barnabas

Americans are rushing wildly to and fro making purchases from sears, amazon, going to see movies, and basically live their lives. What many of them don’t know is that we have a soldier who is a prisoner of war. Sgt Bowe Bergdahl is currently in the hands of the taliban. I have had the highest honor to meet Colonel Bud Day, a medal of honor recipient. He was held as a POW for five years by the North Vietnamese. They tortured him without mercy – and through that entire time, Col Day NEVER broke faith with his comrades nor his country. Reports are trickling out that Sgt Bergdahl recently escaped from his captors, and was recaptured. As he was captured, he was “fighting like a boxer”. Emaciated, exhausted, but still putting up a fight. Where do we find men such as these?? And please…as you gather around your family this holiday season, recall the Bergdahl family. Pray that God would continue to give Sgt. Bergdahl the spirit to fight on, and  return with honor.
